皇家波士頓酒店 (The Royal Boston Hotel by Compass Hospitality)

We were in a premier room, 120- but the smell was horrendous. There was a very strong smell of rotten egg as soon as we left the lift. I think this could have been a drain issue. But it was all along the corridor. We had a group booking and most of the party were along this corridor. We reported it to reception and they said they just had the carpets cleaned. Sorry.. carpet cleaner doesn’t smell like that. We had to have the window open all night to try and drive out the smell (it didn’t work). Breakfast was nice in the morning but restaurant area could do with a massive clean, there was a lot of dust. Toilets in main reception area- there was no working lock. Parking- there was no where it said you had to reserve it, so we had to park on the street which was free and we got a space further down the road luckily. Location it is a bit of a treck to Blackpool central. Prepare for a good walk… although it is nice along the front. Personally I wouldn’t come back this hotel, there is nothing royal about it. The smell was really unbearable and I advised reception they need to take that room out of action really and sort whatever the problem is. As it’s unfair. Room was well presented and clean, however our friends in 117 the bathroom door didn’t slide to close and there was loads of cobwebs in the window.

omg from the moment I walked in i was attended to nothing was to much trouble i had a sea view double room there was a act on downstairs very loud was worried about the house but never heard a thing the decor is a bit dated but the friendliness of the staff and yhe feel of the hotel made up for that I had a fantastic stay it does just what it says on the tin I will definitely be goung back

Lovely stay, friendly staff, great entertainment suitable for all types, good accessibility ♿️ all round good value for money Breakfast was nice cooked and continental available

Had a great time the entertainment was fab the angels elite was great
